Photoshop Florence is a city rich with fuel for the imagination. By overlaying colored illustrations on velum of my favorite myths, stories, and legends from the city onto greyscale illustrations (mostly drawn from life) I represent this veil of fantasy.
The Cover
A transparent velum jacket over the soft cover brings the language of the overlays to the forefront of the project.
The Details
The layout of the colored illustrations is designed with both its relationship to the greyscale image and the text on the other page in mind.
